WHO ARE WE?

The Somerville CRT Support Network has been established to assist Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) and Emergency Teachers (ETs) across the Mornington Peninsula and surrounds to network with one another, share information and gain professional knowledge and learning in accordance with teaching registration requirements. This Network is proudly supported by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), the Department of Education (DEET) and Somerville Rise Primary School.







Our CRT Network is not an employment agency, it is for PROFESSIONAL LEARNING ONLY.

e5 Instructional Model training information Term 3-4 Holidays


The Somerville CRT Network are pleased to announce a PD opportunity in the area of the e5 instructional model.
 
This PD will take place on Tuesday October 4th at Mornington Golf Club, Tallis Drive, Mornington. It will start at 9am with registration from 8.30am and will finish by 3.30pm (at the latest). Morning tea and lunch will be provided. This day is fully funded by DEECD and is limited to 50 places.
 
 If you would like to attend you must commit to being there. If you cannot attend we will need a minimum of 48 hours notice so that we can offer your spot to the next person on our waiting list. Failure to attend or to notify us in time will result in us being unable accept your registration for following PDs.
 
You will need to reply to this email to reserve your spot for the day and you will be notified if you have been successful. If we go over 50 applicants we will operate a waiting list on a first come first served basis.
 
Below you will find an outline of the day's program.
 
Program Title:   e5 Instructional Model
 
Structure:  One day face-to-face workshop for a maximum of 50 participants.
 
Program Outline:  This program will enable participants to:
 
§  develop an understanding of the domains and capabilities within the e5 Instructional Model
§  make connections with their existing pedagogical knowledge, teaching strategies and common experiences to create a deeper understanding of the e5 Instructional Model
§  assist participants to develop and understand the professional language being implemented within education
§  be able to articulate the difference between an instructional model and a planning model
§  be exposed to a variety of learning engagement that will assist participants to strengthen the connections between their current practice and the capabilities of the e5 instructional Model
§  be able to reflect on their practice using the domain profile statements
